Hello dear Loresmyths,
I hope everyone has been doing well since the last time we spoke. On a personal note, my mother has been taken back to the hospital again with a downturn in health. Last year this was playing a big part in the background as some of you may remember. Hoping she will recover again soon, but it remains fragile.
Shipping Underway for Most Countries
After what has seemed an eternity we can finally confirm pledges have started shipping for most countries, and with the others in line to start soon. It has taken quite a while for our new partner Shipquest to get up and running, but they have started sending packages for Europe, and UK is up next.
In addition, I've got confirmation that Nord Games + Flying Cloud (Baltimore) have started shipping out both Wondrous Expeditions Forests and Remarkable Cults simultaneously.
Shipquest does not fulfill multiple projects at the same time as Nord/Flying Cloud does, and as such will prepare for the Remarkable Cults fulfillment as soon as they are 100% done with Wondrous. We are polling them for status reports on a weekly basis.

I like to thank everyone again for being so understanding and patient. I think we can safely say that the pandemic years have made things super difficult, and we will likely experience the lasting effects of it for some time longer. What matters is though, we are extremely proud of how this project turned out and it gets delivered however difficult things get. We really work hard for our customers.

Small Shortage of Dice Bags & Bookmarks
We have heard from the warehouse that in some cases they didn't have enough dice bags and bookmarks. It seems in a warehouse move, some items got misplaced or otherwise missing in action. If your pledge arrives with one of these items missing please reach out to Robin from support by mailing to [email protected] and we can get you a partial refund, a replacement item, Backerkit credit, or another suitable solution you like.
Remarkable Guilds Kickstarter Last 10 Days
Our brand-new Remarkable Guilds Kickstarter is going strong and is in its last 10 days. If you have not backed yet, consider doing so. Fulfilment Update & Big New Video

Hello Loresmyths,
I hope you are doing well. As you likely have heard there is a war going on in Europe, and it's the weirdest most surreal thing having to type this. Surely after Covid has started to wane a bit I was ready for happier times, but the world is currently in an escalating state of turmoil.
Shipping Update
So I know everyone is super anxious to hear when you are getting your packages. I know it's been a long wait and I can only say our team continues to work every week to try and get things arranged. At first, a pandemic caused many delays and when you think things can't get worse, a war conflict disrupts things further.
ITS CLOSE! We are awaiting the green light from Shipquest as well as Nord Games to start sending packages. We know the products arrived at Shipquest already a while back and we reported this to you so why haven't packages been set yet? Shipquest is a new partner and it took us some time to set up the account, legal matters, backend connections, and more. It was more involved than we initially thought. That process is now done, and we are basically awaiting their OK that they have begun sending packages. We will of course post that here once we get the message. For the USA, Canada, and everything "non-EU" we estimate that packages start sending in about 2-3 weeks from now.
REFLECTION - We have worked tirelessly from the summer of 2021 (!! no joke) when Wondrous was first submitted to the book printer, to get you our physical pledges in time for the next Kickstarter launch. We even canceled a Kickstarter out of courtesy and increase our chances of delivering late last year. No one could ever, ever, ever have predicted that things would get disrupted so much and continue to be. I can only apologize and promise to keep communicating clearly as we have been doing. I know this is beyond our control, it still hurts letting customers down, and we are grateful that most of you are still so patient and understanding.
Big New Video On Why & When we Launch New Kickstarters
This video took me quite some effort to put together (somewhat coherently haha) and it's a lengthy one, but I really believe it's important to spend some more time explaining how we creators operate, and why it makes sense to launch new crowdfunding campaigns when we do. And surprise, it's not about being greedy, but because our development teams can't sit idle for 5-6 months while we wait for goods to get printed and shipped. And in the case of last year, who knew this idle period could turn out to be even longer!
So with this context in mind, I really invite you to watch this video in its entirety, and I promise it will be super insightful and fun info!

Hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying their roleplaying games. The past month we had to wait for news on the book transportation, but now we have some cool bits of news to share!
Wondrous Expeditions Pledge Shipping ETA
We have confirmation that the Wondrous Expeditions books are on their way via ship to Baltimore in the USA. It is estimated to arrive next week, after which the goods are stocked into our USA warehouses. Our teams are already preparing to fulfill the physical pledges as soon as things have landed and sorted into the warehouses. The card decks and pocket guides also have arrived in part, we are waiting for all SKU's to be present in all shipping locations. The products are already in our EU warehouse (Germany ShipQuest) and we are almost done preparing to start shipping pledges.
Things will finally start shipping out in phases. We will keep you updated on what countries have started to ship when in future updates. Stay tuned!

Hello, dear Loresmyths!
As promised here's a new update on the printing and shipping progress. And I could not be happier to bring you this news: All books have been manufactured and are on their way to our international shipping hubs!
Wondrous Expeditions Forests books re-printed
So after our unfortunate font problem, having us re-do the entire print run, we are happy to say the new books are finished and look fantastic. It has been more than just a little stressful (the money, the logistics, the disappointment etcetera) but we have also learned and improved our processes so we are better prepared in the future. We have not received the new card deck yet, since they are still in transportation. Once we have them, we will post pictures of those as well!
I am SO impressed with how this book has turned out, it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Being the first in a new product line, this one took some serious creative work to develop, but eventually, all our concerns have faded, now, seeing the real printed product in our hands. I hope you will agree it has become a beautiful and inspirational book. Can't wait to hear how it helps you run wilderness journeys!
Most products have arrived at Shipquest in Germany, our new EU/UK partner. We are waiting for a few last bits such as bookmarks, dice bags etcetera to come in, but we are getting ready to start pledge shipping. In addition, the products are also on their way to Nord Games in the USA (new Baltimore location) using Flying Cloud as an additional hub. We are expecting to be able to send out the first pledges towards the end of February, early March. It will not be much longer now everyone!

Our 4th Remarkable book is going to Kickstart on Tuesday, March 10th, launching around 4 pm Amsterdam time. If you are not already following this, click the link to get notified. I like to wish everyone a fantastic happy new year. Let's hope the big stretch of the pandemic is behind us and 2022 will bring brighter moments for us. What I do know, is the journey is always better with YOU on our side.

It is no surprise by now that Remarkable Guilds is Kickstarting as soon as March (well, technically its been a long time since Cults at the beginning of 2021 haha but hey!) and you don't want to miss that new Remarkable book. Wondrous Expeditions; Forests book printing update
We have word from our book manufacturer that all new books have finished printing and are currently being prepared for ocean cargo transport. We will be awaiting a phone call towards the end of this month (January) to get confirmation all our new books (including Remarkable Cults) are on their way to our international shipping hubs. Since we've chosen to change from our west coast USA hub to move to a new place on the east coast, there's a good chance the transportation time is moderately short. We will keep you posted!
We can now officially announce that the second Kickstarter of this year, after Remarkable Guilds, will be for a 2nd Wondrous Expeditions book. We've received such high praise on the digital version that was shipped to backers last year, we feel confident and excited about doing another one! We know backers are still waiting to get your physical copy of Wondrous Expeditions Forests, but our alternating production cycles mean that we will start producing this next book in two months from now. With the experience and template of the Forests book in place, we also know making the second book in this product line will be much easier.
