I can tell you honestly, even as a 10-time creator, I never take things for granted and it’s always nervewracking to see how a campaign does. To fund so quickly is an amazing thing and it makes me feel mega blessed. So here’s a massive thanks to all backers who have gotten on board instantly and pledged generously. You are wondrous!
What's Next?
With the main project funded, we have the financial means to cover the initial development costs of the Wondrous Expeditions: Forests book. This includes paying writers, artists, editing, and other things.
With the base funding goal reached, we will fulfill the physical books, using DriveThruRPG’s print-on-demand service. Of course, we are going to work hard to reach the “Large Print Run” stretch goal of 35.000 euro, which means we have enough funds to pay for a professionally manufactured print run at high quantities. If we unlock this stretch goal, it means the physical books will have a superior quality print and binding, and we will no longer use DriveThruRPG’s print-on-demand.

Hello, dear Wondrous backers!
Incredible news--we have unlocked our second stretch goal thanks to your wonderful pledges! And it’s only the first day!
Expanded Creatures & Monsters
While the absolute biggest part of the Wondrous Expeditions book will deal with the forest environment, terrain, and how to make the journeys interesting, a few new creatures and monsters don’t hurt, right?
In addition to a wide range of animals/wildlife already planned for the book, we will do even more with this stretch goal. Re-invigorate your forest explorations with creatures and monsters uniquely suited to their natural forest surroundings, with imaginatively described lore that is easy to adapt to your game. They will range from small to big, harmless to terrifying.
(Note: content and layout are not finalized!)
Obviously, development of this book has only just started, so things are still early days. But our writing team can’t wait to delve deeper and bring you a wonderful cast of creatures, ready to appear in your wilderness journeys.
