Hello, dear Wondrous backers!
Thanks to your marvelous pledges, we have unlocked our 75K euroStretch Goal! A big thanks to all of you, it is very nice to see the campaign still going strong after its rocket start.
Forest Battle Maps!
With this new Stretch Goal, we’re able to make a set of richly detailed forest battle maps to use in your roleplaying game sessions. Our plan is to provide maps at varying scales, including more detailed maps for single encounters, as well as some overland maps with hex grids. If you have specific ideas or wishes be sure to comment below or join our Discord and talk nerdy!
What’s Next?
Our next goal is to unlock a budget for a one-shot adventure, that uses the contents of the Wondrous Expeditions book to the full extent. A thrilling adventure in a forest setting that is sure to grab your players' attention! Don't stop me now! :-)

Stretch Goal #8 Unlocked: 5e Stat Blocks for Monsters!

Hello, dear Wondrous backers!
Thanks to your marvelous pledges, we have unlocked our eighth Stretch Goal! It seems like just yesterday we were posting about hitting €65,000...a big thanks to all of you!
5e Statblocks for Monsters!
With this new Stretch Goal, we’re able to take the monsters in the book to a whole new level…literally! We’re going to be giving all the creatures stat blocks (Hit Points, Armor Class, etc.) that mesh with the 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons system.
The full monster entries, including 5e stat blocks, will be placed in the book’s appendix, so the main monster entries in the core of the book remain “system neutral.” You can always adapt the monsters to your own system and stats, but we know many of our fans are running 5e games, so this will be super helpful for them.
We’re excited to bring these monsters to life, and even more excited to see how you use them in your games!
What’s Next?
Our next goal is to unlock a budget for Forest Battle Maps! These will be beautiful, full-color maps that can be used on virtual tabletops or printed at home on poster-size or multi-page A4 sheets. After all, what’s better at making the landscape come alive than an excellent map?

Hello dear Wondrous backers!
Thanks to your tremendous pledges, we have unlocked our seventh Stretch Goal! Thanks so much to everyone who has pledged or upgraded! Your support has turned this campaign into something really special.
Full-Color Monster Artwork Unlocked!
With the increased funds, we are able to commission one of our talented artists to create amazing full-color renditions of the monster illustrations in the book. The black-and-white line art in Forests is done by the fantastic Daniel Comerci from Italy, and under his watchful eye, the monster artwork will be colored to bring extra flavor to the Wondrous Expeditions book!

It will be intriguing to continue developing a new visual aesthetic for this book! I remember with Remarkable Inns that the hand-drawn pencil artworks were kinda unusual in an industry where epic full-color artwork is the norm. But I like it that Loresmyth brings something different to the table. What do you think?
Next Up: 5e Statblocks for Monsters!
Our next Stretch Goal is a very nice addition for GMs who run 5th edition D&D: 5e statblocks for all the monsters included in the book! Though we strive to make all our products system-neutral, we realize that monsters can be difficult to implement without their stats. These additional statblocks will make it easy to slot our menagerie of creatures right into 5e games!

Wondrous Expeditions Forests Deck Unlocked!

Hello, dear wondrous backers!
Your pledges continue to roll in strong and because of that, we have unlocked another stretch goal: The Wondrous Expeditions Forests Card Deck. This is a brand-new product that we will develop as part of this Kickstarter, and is already available in the new reward tiers that have been added (see the previous update post).
The exact details of this product design are still in the works but the artist's impression above gives you a good idea of what to expect. It's going to be a great tool for random improvisation during the game sessions as well as in advance, during game prep. This card deck is available in the following reward tiers:
- Wondrous Value bundle - Softcover
- Wondrous Value bundle - Hardcover
- Wondrous Mega bundle
Please note that this card deck is something different than the Wilderland Voyage card deck, included in various bundles as well. This is one from our already existing Dungeon Discoveries deck series that also offers a fantastic way to improvise immersive details on the spot. These sets may look unassuming on the surface, but are so easy to use and have become a GM-favorite! Just don't tell your players your improvisational secret weapon :-)

Full-Color Chapter Art Spreads
With the increased funds, we will commission one of our talented artists to create amazing full-color artworks to grace the start of each main chapter in the book. If you own Remarkable Inns or Remarkable Shops, you know what these will look like! An art “spread” is a graphic design term for two “facing pages”--a large horizontal, landscape(ha!)-oriented artwork that covers both pages entirely.

I’m super happy that we’ve unlocked this stretch goal because the artwork is always what makes a book all the more exciting!
What’s Next?
Our next goal is to unlock a budget for full-color monster artwork to replace some of the black-and-white line art illustrations. This way, the book will have a mix of the “retro” old-school look as well as colored artworks!
